It has been quite a year for me... opening my eyes to more of an insight into God's Love. I have always been a believer, but have grown to know Him on a more personal level. I hope to learn and grow and provide personal ministry while hoping my life, which is not perfect in any means can be helpful to others as they journey on their path...

my soul is weary of my life

My soul is weary of my life; I will leave my complaint upon myself; I will speak in the bitterness of my soul. Job 10:1

Are we allowed to complain? I think there are several lessons we can get out of Jobs' life. He may have had complaints... I certainly complain and I have not even half the problems that Job did. I think the lesson here is in how our complaints effect our worship and where are our complaints directed to.

Job 12:13-25 he is still exalting God! He has everything taken away from him and was so covered in sores that he hurt and could not be comforted. He begs to die! Yet this is a man that is praised for his patience...

Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy. James 5:11

Job knows that God has all control into His hands... but he also does not question God's wisdom. He knows that there is a reason for His choices, but begs to pretty much be put out of his misery (Job must be where this saying came from). He is wrong in thinking that his sins are the cause of his affliction, but again his complain is apon himself and not apon God. We have gripes and complaints today but we need to give notice that God at times has to use us as instruments for a greater good. This poor man pretty much suffered for the lesson we are learning today. I admire his strength!

For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease. Job 14:7

My reading entails Job 8-12 today... if I forgot to keep you updated the last few days on my reading schedual  I am reading the Bible in chronological order job falled in the middle of Genesis
