It has been quite a year for me... opening my eyes to more of an insight into God's Love. I have always been a believer, but have grown to know Him on a more personal level. I hope to learn and grow and provide personal ministry while hoping my life, which is not perfect in any means can be helpful to others as they journey on their path...

striving to be the good Samaritan

Today during services the Pastor brought out the story of the good samaritan... just as a background the samaritans were vied as worthless people because they were enemies to the Jews. And anyone who would like to reread the story in fact I encourage you... it is found in Luke 10.

And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee. Lk 10:35

Intreasting to note he said he would come back and pay more, which says to me had he not had the money to begin with he was not well off... he probably "lived pay check to pay check" to begin with do not allow lack of finances to get in the way of our reaching out and helping others. Have we a house and food and blankets and clothing? Can we not but share but what we have? Even for our enemies... Especially for our enemies!!!

For if ye love them which love you, what thanks have ye? for sinners also love those that love them. And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same. And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again. But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. Luke 6: 32-36

Our strangers, our enemies, they may be angel or demons, but we need to look apon them in love and as our fellow brethren!

Let brotherly love continue.Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them;  and  them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body. Heb 13:1-3

Jesus died for us, for our sins. Look at the story of the cross. He watched as the very people he was being crucified for, spat apon Him reviled and persecuted Him... if we are christian then we are striving to be Christ like!

I love you all
