Joh 5:36-39 But I have greater witness than that of John: for the works which the Father hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me. And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape. And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him ye believe not. Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

Wow, what a great lesson in those 4 scriptures. I could stop there, but I won't LoL.

God testified of Jesus:
1Jn 5:9 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.


He testified of himself:
Act 23:11 And the night following the Lord stood by him, and said, Be of good cheer, Paul: for as thou hast testified of me in Jerusalem, so must thou bear witness also at Rome.

John testified... and even those that were not followers:

Joh 19:35 And he that saw it bare record, and his record is true: and he knoweth that he saith true, that ye might believe.

This is a soldier, this is not a follower this was a soldier for Rome setting out to break the bones of the men yet still alive. Beautiful that he has no bone broken, the pure lamb... spotless and blimish free!

In fact Jesus knowiong he was going to the cross did it because he was led to minister of himself to othjers... to share as we have been talking about... the news that man has now been covered by His death and through that death God's Grace. Act 20:22 And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there:


Act 20:23-24 Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me. But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God. Act 20:22 And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there:





We will look  tomorrow night at the testimonies in the Old Testiment... ahhhhhhh New TESTIMENT Old TESTIMENT very intreasting indeed... this is why I am doing this... as I study and things are revealed to me and pieces of the puzzle are put together or I understand things like why it's called the Old and the New. We don't study the old enough, dfinantly forget to look back at all the testimonies before Christ was born. The whole Bible is about Jesus! I hope to make that clearer as we continue to study. I will think of you all tomorrow...
