It has been quite a year for me... opening my eyes to more of an insight into God's Love. I have always been a believer, but have grown to know Him on a more personal level. I hope to learn and grow and provide personal ministry while hoping my life, which is not perfect in any means can be helpful to others as they journey on their path...

dinner

After dealing with allergies all day long (yes I even took allergy medicine) I came home worn out, a wall grounded in my head, dishes in the sink, dinner needing to be fixed, I set out to get-er done! It was a chore for me, I dragged out the food, cleaned off the table, chased away the dog who had put a hole in the sack of garbage I was using (Yes a word slipped out of my mouth I was not proud of, again I never pose to be perfect and struggle daily however struggle less since this endevor to share my ministry)
... It is family dinner night and I really just wanted to go crawl up into bed.

....Cory (my son) started setting the table... wow!
My husband started helping with the dishes... awesome!
We held hands a said a prayer... uplifting!!
Then my topic for tonight's blog sung out to me ahhhh (like that pc commercial where eyes glow and a light shines upon their head and you hear a choir sing ahhhh)... the word of God is our food.

I slowed down, and enjoyed the family around me... even when Tiff's (daughter) first bite brought out a loud ewe (which I fixed cheep green beans from a can cause we is po' folk right now and she didn't like the... flavor I don't blame her... but we will go back to that in a sec.) I slowly ate my food and allow it to make me full and enjoy the flavor and the Love. We asked our house mate to join us, we had Cory's best friend (ie adopted son) and shared our wonderful meal that the Lord had blessed us with.

Psa 78:24-25 And had rained down manna upon them to eat, and had given them of the corn of heaven.  Man did eat angels' food: he sent them meat to the full.

Our good Father does provid the food we need to eat as humans... nourishment was set up from the begining of time
Gen 2:9 And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

But he provides us with a food that is so much more important than that... the nourishment of our hearts and souls.

Act 14:17 Nevertheless he left not himself without witness, in that he did good, and gave us rain from heaven, and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness.

2 Cor 9:10 Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;)

1 Cor 3:1-2And I, brethren, was not able to speak to you as to spiritual, but as to fleshly--as to babes in Christ; with milk I fed you, and not with meat, for ye were not yet able, but not even yet are ye now able,

1Co 3:1-2  reminds us that what was physically given in past is now given in the spiritual sense. This is an antitype... this was a way to teach. We were shown many things in the physical since throughout the old tesitament days to set up examples. Now we are to have the law written apon our hearts (2 Cor 3:3) and the food we are to be fed is spiritual.

Mat 4:4 But He answered and said, It is written, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God."

Again I have been blessed by His food, by sorrunding myself in Love and great company (ie you the reader and fellow student of God's infinite wisdom)... o yeah and the "ewe" part of my diner of course... we will in fact receive opposition from others while we try to share our bountiful feast with others... shrug it off and ask a guest (in this case it was our house mate) to join you.
