Noah.... and Jesus... not saying Noah was Jesus, he basically was an arrow pointing the way... an example a forshadowing. There are many many representations we will see in our studies... things that give you an exciting chill down your spine when you read just how Awesome God's wisdom is. How things were known before they occured. When you do a study on water... and life... your will get so excited that you want to know more... you'll want to drink more. There is a great story in the flood, but we will cover that another day. Today I was going to look briefly at Noah's faith. (Thank you Ellen for this topic of discussion) Again I am being led down a whole other path with this lesson... In fact it's too great a subject to even begin to dive into... so for now I will leave you with a few scriptures and a little blurb.. maybe to invoke some fire into you to study this topic with me... please again feed back is always welcome we_R_happy2gether@hotmail.com

Mat 24:38 For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day Noah entered into the ark.

This is a warning here! Noah creid out to the people and built a safe haven, tried calling out to the masses they were lost.... and no one heard. Did he quit? Did he even know what he was building to begin with? NO ONE HAD EVER SEEN RAIN!!!!

Gen 2:6 But there went up from the earth a mist and watered all the face of the ground.


That was how the plants were watered. We hear of floods all the time... but thay didn't have t.v. or radio or radar systems.... HAd noooo clue what was coming and God said to Noah... build. Today what are we called out to do?
 
 
Mat 24:-51 But of that day and hour no one knows, no, not the angels of Heaven, but only My Father. But as the days of Noah were, so shall be the coming of the Son of Man. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day Noah entered into the ark. And they did not know until the flood came and took them all away. So also will be the coming of the Son of Man. Then two shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Therefore watch; for you do not know what hour your Lord comes. But know this, that if the steward of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched and would not have allowed his house to be dug through. Therefore you also be ready, for in that hour you think not, the Son of Man comes. Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his Lord has made ruler over His household, to give them food in due season?  Blessed is that servant whom his Lord shall find him doing so when He comes. Truly I say to you that He shall make him ruler over all His goods. But if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My Lord delays His coming, and shall begin to strike his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunken, the Lord of that servant shall come in a day when he does not look for Him, and in an hour which he does not know.  And He shall cut him apart and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
 
for this we rely on what? Our faith.... Heb 11 is a great chapter to begin with when you want to study apon faith and we will get there... but I want to leave you with Noah's example...
 
Heb 11:7 By faith Noah, having been warned by God of things not yet seen, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.
 
and I hope that we all pick up our Bibles and reread the flood and reread what we are being warned about in Matthew. Whether or not you believe He has come back or is coming back we still don't know when our walk apon this Earth will end for us physically. So we all need to take warning and be prepared!
