Exodus 4:6-7 6 And the Lord said furthermore unto him, Put now thine hand into thy bosom. And he put his hand into his bosom: and when he took it out, behold, his hand was leprous as snow. 7 And he said, Put thine hand into thy bosom again. And he put his hand into his bosom again; and plucked it out of his bosom, and, behold, it was turned again as his other flesh.
We know the story of God showing Himself to Moses in the form of a burning bush. Maybe as kids it is hard to understand what has transpired here in versus 6 and 7 of Exodus chapter 4 and so we don't teach it as in depth. So this is a new side of the story to me to invission being told to stick my hand into my chest. This shows so clearly God's ability to control our Earthly environment between both the bush and that it shoulda struck Moses dumb.
Exodus 4:14 And the anger of the Lord was kindled against Moses, and he said, Is not Aaron the Levite thy brother? I know that he can speak well. And also, behold, he cometh forth to meet thee: and when he seeth thee, he will be glad in his heart.
Ummm.... again I failed to think about this part of the story. Boys were killed... Moses put in basket sent down the river survived, we know that story... ummm how is there a brother? I always took it for gramted that Aaron was just there. Leads me to wonder if there is some age differance between the two.
Exodus 6:3 And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name Jehovah was I not known to them.
And on a side note this is another passage where we see God our Father, Jehovah as he was called for the first time here. Jehovah from my best understanding would be to say the One God... as opposed to the other gods that would have been worshiped. There are gods out there bewary not to fall into a false belief in a god (not God) who cannot save you.

My grandma, pictured here with me while she was still alive, is the most Godly woman I have ever known. Always has been my inspiration and embodyment of who I want to be... in that light I want to share my steps to becoming closer to my God the Father and Savior. I am in no way shape or form perfect as you will come to know... this is a growth process. In God's Love... Heather Weatherman
It has been quite a year for me... opening my eyes to more of an insight into God's Love. I have always been a believer, but have grown to know Him on a more personal level. I hope to learn and grow and provide personal ministry while hoping my life, which is not perfect in any means can be helpful to others as they journey on their path...
Wow, great points! I never thought of those things either.
