Understanding the 3

Romans 12:5 So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.

So I was reading this today. This is something I had already thought about and continue to expand in my understanding.

We are all members of the same body. Much like a marriage it also gives us a better understanding of the trinity why they are three separate entities yet they are one.

My husband and I are a united front against those who harm our kids or when we are against the kids. When we are struggling with bills we discuss the best way to deal with the problem... he knows me and I know him... the good and the bad. We have two seperate bodies yet God designed us to form into one another spiritually. Sure it's a long wayfrom perfect, but I think we all get the idea.

The same way we are all individual people... striving to be Christ like... but together we are a part of one another. Our own bodies are used as an example. Blood carries oxygen to every part of our bodies... when one part of our body is suffering our immune system work's to fix the problem... this in turn effects the whole body... on the opposite end our whole body can also be effected in a good way as well. Hair is used to protect us... hair is important even if we are not always aware of it's role or it's benifits.

That brings us to the trinity. The way that the body and a marriage works would help us to understand this concept. Each individual with individual jobs, tasks, strengths... yet together on the same front. Of the same accord... with the same mind.

This is just a way it made it easier for me to understand and I hope it's something that help's youe understanding or can encourage you to study to understand better even if you come to a differsant understanding... if you do please enlighten me because like I said I am still searching to understand everything.
